RAFT is a great organization.
I’m a big advocate for Engineering for kids in K-8 especially in the lower grades.
Engineering is often overlooked because many teachers think they don’t understand it. Actually they do. Anything “made” is engineering.
Most science discoveries depend on engineering to make the equipment to see, detect, measure, change what exists. The James Webb telescope is amazing new engineering designed and built over 20+ years. Now the scientists will explore new and previously unreachable stars.
Your RAFT kits and teacher resources are important to promoting and supporting stEm learning.
Thanks for your volunteering for RAFT.
