Worldreader
What’s the problem?
775 million people in the world are illiterate, and as the population grows, the problem is worsening. In sub-Saharan Africa alone, more than 200 million children live in locations where printed books are non-existent or prohibitively expensive, and 50% of schools have few or no books at all.
