What’s the problem?
How can we make a bandage to cover a cut on someone’s finger so that it is easier to use than having to mess with gauze and separate tape?

- Why: put it on yourself, protect the cut and keep it clean, stay on through normal use

Earle Dickson invented Band-Aids in 1920. He combined the gauze that would cover the cut with adhesive tape to hold it in place. He covered the gauze and the sticky part of the tape that was sticking out. He wanted to keep it clean until it would be used.
