3D modeling

3 Dimensions refers to objects that are constructed on three plans (X, Y and Z). The process of creating 3D graphics can be divided into three basic phases: 3D modeling, 3D animation and 3D rendering. A 3D model is usually originated on the computer by engineer using some kind of 3d modeling tools.

• 3D modeling – photo realistic image of whatever plan the designer has in mind as they need to see it virtually. Saves hours just to explain a model through 2D drawing and plans
• OpenSCAD – software for creating solid 3D CAD models, reads in a script file that describes the object and renders the 3D model from this script file.
