In an effort to get teachers to share technology and to get ideas from peers to adopt and adapt, we are collecting ideas to jump start this process.
- 5 pictures – well, 4 pictures and an information slide – At each weekly staff meeting 3-5 teachers will showcase a technology or integration that they are using. The information slide includes teacher name, grade, subject, technology, link to product or instructions. Each presenter will email 5 slides in advance to the meeting coordinator. These will be displaying as the group assembles. The first agenda item – step through the slides with a 3 minute description of each. Total time 10 minutes.
- teachers forum – Edmodo group for teachers. Teachers are encouraged to post questions, resources, suggestions. Teachers can adjust settings to be notified by email when new information is posted.
- Professional Learning Community (PLN) – usually several teachers working together by subject or by grade level
- Coaching – 1 to 1 peer sharing
