We made good progress today in discussions for implementing proof of concepts for the technology planning and implementation process
- Technology Plan – reviewed process for creating a technology action plan, technology focus areas, goals and objectives, priorities, resources and planning / evidence matrix
- Book Source – library management, iTouch for check out / check in, student alpha codes, upload students from spreadsheet, one class test drive, Classroom Organizer app
- Edmodo – parent permission letter review and approval, student records using alpha codes, math videos and review questions activities
- Engineering – integrate into curriculum as application for math, science and as problem solving for social studies
- “Show n Tell” technology in use – 4 pictures with information slide presentations from 3-5 teachers at each staff meeting, compile, publish and share, variation on Story in 5 photos
- technology tracking – collect information, examples from lesson plans
- communication – school web site redesign and launch with teacher / grade level pages, news, resources and community information, coming soon…
